NIZAMABAD: Telangana Rashtra Samiti secretary J. Bapu Reddy has condemned the Congress MLA Bajireddy Govardhan’s alleged derogatory remarks against TRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao. At a press conference here on Wednesday, thephysician-turned-politician Dr. Reddy said Mr. Govardhan had no right to insult the leader of TRS as Mr. Govardhan was elected from Banswada constituency with the support of TRS. Even though Mr. Govardhan ‘migrated’ from his native Armoor constituency, the TRS workers ensured his victory abiding by the alliance in 2004, he said. Advising Mr. Govardhan to desist from making negative comments against the advocates of Telangana, he said the Telanganites would give a fitting reply to the advocates of unified state by defeating them in the ensuing elections.The TRS leader also strongly condemned the Rayalaseema Hakkula Vedika leader T.G. Venkatesh’s call for people from Andhra and Rayalaseema to arm themselves.He said the Telanagana people were peace lovers and the TRS was has been running the agitation in a peaceful manner.
