THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) has accused commissioner P.V. Nalinakshan Nair of attempting to create indiscipline among the staff. The board, which met here on Tuesday, decided to give a letter to the Devaswom ombudsman listing the alleged lapses of the commissioner. The letter said that immediately after assuming office, the commissioner directed the staff to act against the decisions of the board. He issued a letter to a senior officer to defy an order of the board. A deputy commissioner who was demoted to the post of assistant commissioner by the court was retained in the same post. The commissioner directed the demoted officer not to hand over charge to the officer appointed by the court. Such acts were a violation of rules, the letter said.
