Seminar on autonomy held

VILLUPURAM: A seminar on ‘Autonomy and its related aspects’ was recently held under the aegis of Theivanai Ammal College for Women. It stressed on the need for self-financing colleges getting autonomous status.

Xavier Alphonse, Director, Indian Council for Research and Development of Community Education, spoke on dimensions of autonomy and difficulties in acquiring it.
