CHENNAI: Karun Chandhok has been invited to drive in the 24-hour endurance race to be held at the Dubai Autodrome this weekend. The race starts at 2 p.m. (local time) on Friday (January 9) and runs till 2 p.m. the next day. Karun is assisting the Empire Motorsport Team in the only factory-supported Lotus 211 in the race. With a total of 88 cars across seven different categories this year, the Dubai event is turning into a prestigious and popular event in the world of endurance racing. Partnering Chandhok and Lian in the Lotus team will be the Australian James Mitchell, a regular at endurance races — Special Correspondent
