Water levels decrease

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The water levels of Idamalayar decreased by 1.02 ft, Kallada by 0.55 ft and Idukki by 0.76 ft during the week ending January 5, according to figures released by the Central Water Commission. The latest water levels were 492.52 ft in Idamalayar, 375.66 ft in Kallada and 2351.42 ft in Idukki. The water levels of Idamalayar and Iduki were considerably lower than what they were this time last year. —Special Correspondent
