CHENNAI: Three finalists but only one title. That was the story in the end for the Indians in the British Junior Open squash tournament at Sheffield on Tuesday. Mahesh Mangaonkar clinched the boys’ under-15 title beating favourite Oliver Holland of England 11-5, 7-11, 11-5, 12-10. The two who failed at the final hurdle were Dipika Pallikal in the girls’ under-19 and Kush Kumar in the boys’ under-13 sections. The results (all finals): Boys: U-13: Amr Aboul Souad (Egy) bt Kush Kumar (Ind) 11-7, 7-11, 9-11, 11-9, 11-7. U-15: Mahesh Mangaonkar (Ind) bt Oliver Holland (Eng) 11-5, 7-11, 11-5, 12-10. Girls: U-19: Low Wee Wern (Mas) bt Dipika Palikal (Ind) 11-2, 11-8, 8-11 11-8.
