Kalra guides Sonnet to victory
NEW DELHI: Sonnet Club rode on Aditya Kalra’s all-round performance to post a six-wicket win over S.S. Khalsa Academy and reach the semifinals of the second Krishan Sehwag Memorial cricket tournament at the MRV School (Dwarka) ground here on Wednesday.
Kalra claimed two wickets and gathered 31 runs for the winning team. Jatin Bharadwaj dismissed three Khalsa batsmen. Kabir Solanki (34) was the top-scorer for Khalsa.
The scores: S.S. Khalsa Academy 104 for seven in 25 overs lost to Sonnet Club 105 for four in 22 overs.
