Manmohan to inaugurate Ezhimala Naval Academy today

KANNUR: Elaborate security arrangements have been made in and around the Naval Academy at Ezhimala here in view of the visit of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh who will inaugurate the academy on Thursday.
The academy developed at Ezhimala, 38 km from here, will be dedicated to the nation at a function inside this premier defence institution at 2.45 p.m. Kerala Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan, Defence Minister A.K. Antony, Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Sureesh Mehta and Chief of the Southern Naval Command Vice Admiral Sunil K. Damle will be present at the ceremony.
