VIJAYAWADA: The National Book Trust (NBT) would organise two-day literary programme at the ongoing Vijayawada Book Festival on Thursday and Friday. Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, NBT Assistant Editor (Telugu) Pattipaka Mohan said that the NBT would release its five new titles in Telugu for the children on the first day of the literary programme. The books - ‘Mrugaraju-Mullapandi’, ‘Telivaina Raithu-Naluguru Dongalu’, ‘Chunmunku Swetcha’, ‘Birju Kashtaalu’ and ‘Adbhutamaina Selavalu’ – were translated from other languages under Nehru Baala Sahityam programme of the NBT, he said. Animal Husbandry Minister Mandali Buddha Prasad would release the books. Poetry and story reading would be organised on the second day of the literary programme from 5 p.m. onwards.
