BANGALORE: Members of over 25 unions of Union Government employees and workers on Tuesday staged a dharna here urging the Union Government to fulfil their demands, including minimum wages and lifting the ban on recruitment.
The leaders also decided to participate in an indefinite strike called by the Confederation of Central Government Employees and Workers on January 20 and agreed to serve notices on the heads of the departments concerned.
The working president of the Karnataka State Coordination Committee of Central Government Employees and Workers, S. Radhakrishna addressed the protestors.
