Bhajagovindam programme in temples today

VISAKHAPATNAM: Bhajagovindam programme will be conducted by Endowments Department in association with the Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam in all temples of Lord Vishnu in north Andhra on Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the occasion of Vaikuntha Ekadasi.

Reviewing the arrangements for the programme here on Tuesday, Regional Joint Commissioner of Endowments S. Kondala Rao said that the recital of Vishnu Sahasranamam and sankeertan would be organised during the programme. Free prasadam - pulihora, chakkarapongali and dadhojanam would be distributed to the devotees on the occasion with TTD’s cooperation.

There are 1,136 temples in Visakhapatnam and as many as 26,888 belonging to 1,727 bhajan mandals would participate in the programme.
