THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Forest Minister Binoy Viswom on Tuesday directed the Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) to conduct an inquiry into the death of a peacock earlier in the day inside the campus of Kerala Agriculture University at Mannuthy in Thrissur district. In a press release, the Minister’s office said that the officer had been asked to submit his report within two days. More peacock deaths were reported from the campus in the recent past. —Special Correspondent
