Free counselling at medical shop

KOZHIKODE: Open Medicines, a medical shop that offers patients counselling on health-related matters free of cost besides medicines, is being opened at Nadakkavu here on Thursday.

Open Medicines is also being projected as a medical shop with a difference because it will store medicines in temperature that will prevent loss of their curative properties, according to Gireesh Thomas, Manager (marketing), and Firozlal T.K., director, Open Medicines.

A free health check-up has also been arranged after Open Medicines is inaugurated on January 8 by District Collector A. Jayathilak.

A facility for home delivery of medicines will be made available. The healthline service can be accessed on 9745005060. The cost of medicines will be the same as in other medical shops.
