Recognition for cancer surgeon

COIMBATORE: Senior cancer surgeon S. Sadasivam has been conferred the honorary fellowship, ‘FRCS ad
eundun’ of the Royal College of London.
The honorary fellowship (Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons) is in recognition of his contributions to cancer treatment for over three decades.
Dr. Sadasivam has been Head of the Department and Professor of Surgery at the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital for over 25 years. He has held various posts such as president of the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology, Chairman of Association of Surgeons of India, Tamil Nadu Chapter. He is also the general council member and treasurer of the Association of Surgeons of India.
