PRP supports lorry owners’ stir

The Vijayawada urban unit of Praja Rajyam Party extended its support to the ongoing All India Lorry Owners strike here on Monday.

The party leader, Kesineni Srinivas (Nani), said that the strike was justified as the rate of crude oil per barrel came down by 45 dollars. It was 167 dollars six months ago, and now the rate has decreased by 70 per cent. Hence, the diesel rate should be lowered by Rs.10 per litre, he said.
