Rock idol competition

Hyderabad: The twin cities are ready to rock again with college bands competing in the most awaited rock competition, Nokia Hero Honda Campus Rock Idols Series 5.

Colleges from ten cities such as Shillong, Kolkata, Delhi, Indore, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Manipal are all set to participate in the regional rounds. This year, colleges Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Goa will also participate.

Campus Rock Idols is divided into four zones and the regional winners from these zones will go on to compete in the national finals that will be held in Hyderabad on February 7. The regional winnerswill get a gift hamper from ‘On Stage’ equipment and the national winner, apart from the cash prize, will get a chance to open for ‘Rock n India’, India’s first and only international rock music festival.
