Sports meet at Gitanjali Devshala School

The football team of Don Bosco school with its mentors

HYDERABAD: The annual sports meet of Gitanjali Devshala School, Secunderabad on December 23 was a fun-filled event. Crisp march-past by the four houses Coral, Diamond, Emerald and Sapphire was followed by a colourful race ‘shopping for mom’. Students of Class II waddled like penguins in the ‘penguin race’.

Karate display and Yoga display were other attractions of the event. The chief guest Vani Subhash stressed the importance of sports for a healthy and productive life.

Don Bosco High School

Students from Don Bosco High School participated in the football tournament conducted by the Sachdev Sports Company at the Trimulgherry village grounds from November 10 to 14. The school team consisting of national and State-level players stood third in the tourney.
