Moharrum public holiday on Jan 8

HYDERABAD: The Cabinet, which met here on Monday, decided to declare January 8 as public holiday for Moharrum. This is in response to representations made to the government by Muslim elders. The optional holiday for Moharrum has been shifted to January 7. — Special Correspondent
