Examination of witnesses to begin

CHENNAI: The Commission of Inquiry, formed to enquire into the Law college incidents, will begin examination of witnesses from Wednesday.

An official release stated that the commission, headed by Justice P. Shanmugam, would examine about 45 witnesses, consisting mostly of college officials, police officers and students, on a day-to-day basis. The inquiry is open to the public and advocates for the parties will be permitted to cross examine the witnesses, the release added. — Special Correspondent
