TD stages ‘maha dharna’

Chittoor: Activists of Telugu Desam Party district unit led by N. Amaranath Reddy, district president, State president Telugu Mahila Roja, Muddu Krishnama Naidu others staged a ‘maha dharna’ on Monday on the entrance road of Kanipakam in Irala Mandal 15 km from here. They alleged that several malpractices were occurring in the temple administration of Varasidhi Vinayaka Swamy Kanipakam.

They lambasted the authority for its proposal to acquire more lands in addition to that already acquired under temple master plan.
