Paintings to highlight evils of terror

Staff Reporter

KOZHIKODE: The Kozhikode-based Painters Club will conduct a painting exhibition to highlight the horrors of terrorism and the hazards of ecological destruction.

The event will be organised at the Kerala Lalithakala Academy Art Gallery in Thrissur from January 14 to 22.

Noted artists from the State would take part in the event which will coincide with the 32nd death anniversary of K.C.S. Panicker, one of the pioneers of Indian art renaissance.

Only two colours — red and black — will be used in the works, the organisers said.

Those interested in taking part are requested to send their entries to the Kerala Lalithakala Academy Art Gallery, Thrissur by January 12 (ph: 98477 07797).
