Free mock AIEEE held

AMBITIOUS: Candidates writing the model exam organised by The Hindu Education Plus, AIMS Education and SRM University, in the city on Sunday.

MADURAI: A free mock All India Engineering Entrance Examination was held at Vikasaa School here on Sunday by The Hindu Education Plus, AIMS Education, Chennai, and SRM University, Chennai.

Over 160 Standard XII students from State Board, Central Board of Secondary Education and Indian School Certificate appeared for examination.

According to N. Meenakshi Sundaram, convener, “This model examination will be a good preparation of the AIEEE.”

On January 11, a discussion would be held for students. The three-hour session would discuss mathematics, physics, and chemistry, he said, adding that an hour would be allotted to each subject.

The venue for the discussion would also be Vikasaa School. Students from in and around Madurai took part.
