Sop for Gandla, Telikula communities

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy on Sunday announced the setting up of a finance corporation for the Gandla – Telikula communities which are involved in manufacture of edible oil. Dr. Reddy said the State government will recommend to the AP Commission for Backward Classes to study the possibility of transferring Gandla – Telikula communities from BC ‘B’ to ‘A’ group. He also promised to include ‘Teli’ among the Backward Classes based on the commission’s recommendation.
