MADURAI: Fifteen check-posts have been established to check all vehicles round-the-clock in Thirumangalam Assembly constituency, said Deputy Inspector General of Police (Madurai Range) Amresh Pujari here on Sunday. According to a press release, he said that 28 mobile patrols had been deployed at vantage points in rural pockets to ensure that there was no intimidation of voters anywhere in the constituency. The public may inform the mobile police teams on any violation or irregularities of the election code of conduct by any political parties or candidates or their representatives for action. He also informed that the Central Reserve Police Force personnel would arrive shortly for poll duty.
