AICC leader takes part in ‘dappu melas’ Leaders take note of individual grievances KHAMMAM: Congress party workers led by P. Sudhakar Reddy, MLC and AICC Secretary, walked to their own drum beats down the lanes of Sundaraiahnagar and different other localities in Manuguru town as part of a door-to-door campaign taken up by the party to propagate development and welfare measures taken up by the State Government. They took stock of the facilities being provided to the residents and took note of the individual grievances and community needs to be fulfilled. The AICC leader took part in ‘dappu melas’ organised in towns such as Tallada, Wyra and Bokkalagadda locality in the town in the day as part of the campaign. He visited some Anganwadi centres and interacted with parents and staff on the facilities. Talking to media persons at Manuguru, he called upon the party workers to go to the people and help them in availing themselves of the benefits under the various welfare programmes being implemented by the party. He said the left parties and the TDP combine were making all-out efforts to justify their alliance which in fact enjoyed no acceptability among the people. Their coming together would not help them any way in improving their electoral chances.
