Send Pranab to Colombo: PMK

VILLUPURAM: A special general body meeting of the Pattali Makkal Katchi held at Thailapuram near here on Friday passed a resolution urging the Centre to immediately send External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee to Colombo to stop the killing of Eelam Tamils.

The delay in doing so had caused disappointment among Tamils in the country and abroad. In another resolution, it noted that reducing the working hours of the TASMAC outlets by one hour was not sufficient to achieve the goal of total prohibition.
