Fine imposed

KARUR: The traffic police slapped fines on 125 persons for violating road rules in Karur on Wednesday.

Those fined were charged with offences including drunken driving (13 persons), rash driving (18), driving without valid license (20) and speedy driving causing danger to other road users (12). Others were fined for similar petty offences. The traffic wing of the police and the highway patrol teams levied the fines.
