Noida in semifinals

NEW DELHI: Nakul Sharma and Praneet Kumar’s all-round showing helped Noida beat Gandhinagar by 55 runs and book a berth in the semifinals of the all-India inter-Delhi Public School (DPS) under-14 cricket tournament at the Mathura Road ground here on Friday.

Nakul scored a half-century and captured two wickets while Praneet contributed 36 runs besides scalping three Gandhinagar batsmen.

Anshuman Kumar (36) was the top-scorer for Gandhinagar.

The scores: DPS Noida 140 for two in 18 overs (Nakul Sharma 52, Praneet Kumar 36) bt
