State to renew appeal for NSG unit

BANGALORE: The State Government has decided to reiterate its demand for stationing a National Security Guards (NSG) unit in Bangalore at the Chief Ministers’ meeting in New Delhi on January 6.

Speaking to presspersons here on Friday, Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa said the State would also seek strengthening the Coast Guard wing.
