KOZHIKODE: Plantation Corporation of Kerala (Ltd.) will replant cashew saplings in more than 353 hectares during the year. Corporation chairman T.J. Anjelose said replanting was carried out in 293 hectares last year. Participating in a workers’ get-together at the Perambra Estate here recently, Mr. Anjelose said the commercial nursery of the corporation would get ready for sale as many as three lakh cashew saplings and one lakh rubber seedlings. It has been decided to hike the wages of permanent workers of cashew gardens under the corporation.
