Chief Minister releases APPETA diary

FORMAL OCCASION: Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy releasing the 2009 diary of the Andhra Pradesh Physical Education Teachers Association at his camp office in Hyderabad on Thursday.

Hyderabad: Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy released the 2009 Diary of the Andhra Pradesh Physical Education Teachers Association here on Thursday.

B. Mohan Reddy, MLC, APPETA president B. Yadaiah, associate presidents C. Venkatnarayana and S. Someshwar, joint-secretary N. Sai Kumar were present. Mr. Yadaiah told the media that Dr. Reddy responded positively to the APETTA’s plea to fill vacant school assistant posts in State.

ACTA-AP plea

Meanwhile, the Affiliated College Teachers Association, Andhra Pradesh (ACTA-AP) has urged the Chief Minister to implement in toto the pay package recommended by the Central government to the university and college teachers.
