THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The third annual convention of the Trivandrum Medical College Alumni Association will be held at the Medical College auditorium on January 4. Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Vayalar Ravi will inaugurate the convention. The college auditorium, which has been renovated with the help of the alumni, will be inaugurated by Health Minister P.K. Sreemathy. Health Secretary Vishwas Mehta will inaugurate the burns unit at the hospital, which has been upgraded into a modern burns care facility. M.S. Valiathan will deliver the R. Kesavan Nair lecture, while B.M. Hegde, former Vice-Chancellor, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, will deliver the K.N. Pai memorial lecture.
