No sweat for Mathura Road

NEW DELHI: Hardik Pahwa scored 84 runs and mediumpacer Droan Chhabra claimed five wickets as host Mathura Road thrashed Ranchi by 125 runs to enter the semifinals of the all-India inter-Delhi Public School (DPS) under-14 cricket tournament here on Thursday.

In another match, Noida beat Guwahati by 53 runs to reach the quarterfinals.

The sores:

DPS Mathura Road 198 for five in 20 overs (Hardik Pahwa 84, Bharat Gupta 39) bt DPS Ranchi 73 in 18.2 overs (Droan Chhabra five for four).

Noida 125 for five in 20 overs bt Guwahati 72 in 17.3 overs.
