Salem Vinayaka Mission Hospital added under heart surgery scheme

MADURAI: S. Elango, Director of Public Health (DPH), told The Hindu here on Thursday that three more private hospitals in Tamil Nadu have been added to the existing list of 17 accredited hospitals for the ‘Ilam Sirar Irudhaya Padhukappu Thittam.’

The three hospitals were Billroth Hospital in Chennai, Cauvery Mission Hospital in Tiruchi and Vinayaka Mission Hospital in Salem. Over 800 surgeries for school children have been performed.
