Kudumbasree elections

Thiruvananthapuram: More than two lakh ‘ayalkootta’ chairpersons have taken charge on the basis of the Kudumbasree organisational election results, Minister for Local Self-government Paloli Mohammed Kutty said here on Thursday. More than 36.45 lakh members took part in the elections held under the revised bylaw and rules, he said.

The elections would help strengthen the organisational machinery and tone up and extend the activities of the self-help groups, the Minister added. — Special Correspondent
