New Year greetings to Sonia, Manmohan

CHENNAI: Union Minister of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways T.R. Baalu on Thursday greeted UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee for the New Year on behalf of DMK party president M. Karunanidhi.

A press release issued by the Minister’s office from New Delhi said the national leaders conveyed their regards and greetings to Mr. Karunanidhi, people of Tamil Nadu, DMK Parliamentary Party and others. — Special Correspondent
