Chennai: Sathyabama University won the State-level basketball tournament organised by Friends Basketball Club at Dindigul with a 65-35 win over Tamil Nadu Police in the final.

Quarterfinals: Sathyabama University bt Sethu BC, Madurai 58-30; Tamil Nadu Police bt Eagles BC 66-52; Texcity, Karur bt Thenbavani BC, Madurai 64-58; Gopalapuram BC bt Youngstar BC 52-42.
