Thrissur: School of Drama and Fine Arts, University of Calicut, will organise a lecture series to commemorate G. Sankara Pillai, Safdar Hashmi and Jose Chiramel on January 1, 2 and 3. V. Arumugham, Head of Performing Arts, Pondicherry University, will deliver G. Sankara Pillai endowment lecture. Lectures on Safdar Hashmi and Jose Chiramel will be delivered by Purushan Kadalundy, Secretary of Kerala Sahithya Akademi, and Jayasoorya, theatre personality, respectively.
