Pakistan denies media reports

Islamabad: Pakistan on Wednesday dismissed as “completely speculative” media reports that the United States has shared with it a taped conversation Lashkar-e-Taiba operation head Zakiur Rahman Lakhvi allegedly had with the terrorists involved in the Mumbai terror attacks.

“It is based on complete speculation that the U.S. has shared information [on 26/11 attacks]. Even if it has happened, the government of Pakistan has not received such evidence,” Information Minister Sherry Rehman said at a meet-the press in Karachi.

She said India had not shared any evidence with Pakistan.

On the action taken by Pakistan against some of activists of the LeT front organisation Jamaat-ud-Dawa, she said whatever Pakistan had done was in compliance with “the UNSC resolutions and the world community agrees that we do not give shelter to terrorists and non-state actors.” — PTI
