Four killed in road accident

MAHABUBNAGAR: Four persons were killed and six others injured when the vehicle in which they were travelling collided head on near Veldanda mandal headquarters in the district on Tuesday. The condition of two persons is reportedly critical. According to information reaching district headquarters around 7 p.m. an Indica car proceeding to Siddipet from Srisailam hit an RTC bus coming in the opposite direction resulting in the instantaneous death of four persons travelling in the car. The driver of the car Thirupathi Reddy and Ramya (6) were shifted to a hospital in Hyderabad as their condition was critical. The occupants of the car belong to single family.
