Freak accident

Coimbatore: Four persons were killed and four others injured when a maxi-cab in which they were travelling rammed an empty lorry from behind on the Bypass Road near Irugur in the small hours of Tuesday. The driver, unaware of the incident, drove the vehicle for two km, dragging the maxi-cab. He could bring the lorry to halt only after drivers of other vehicles informed him.
