Dalit Swabhimana Jagruti Day

Bangalore: The Karnataka Rajya Dalit Sangharsha Samiti will observe a month-long Dalit Swabhimana Jagruti Day in all the districts of the State from January 1 to 30. The convener of the samiti, D.G. Sagar, told presspersons here on Tuesday that seminars on the plight, right and responsibilities of the Dalits would be held. Sri Veerabhadrachannamalla Mahaswami would inaugurate the seminar on January 1, 2009, he added. — Special Correspondent
