Another man falls prey to Blueline bus

NEW DELHI: A 45-year-old man was run over by a Blueline bus after a fall from the footboard in Paschim Vihar here on Monday.

Milak Ram of Peeragarhi was standing on the footboard of the bus -- plying between Old Delhi and Tikri border -- when he fell from the vehicle and came under its wheels around 10-30 p.m. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead on arrival. The driver tried to flee, but was caught by a Police Control Room van staff.
