New Chief Justice for J&K High Court

New Delhi: President Pratibha Patil has appointed Patna High Court Judge Justice Barin Ghosh the Chief Justice of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court with effect from the date he assumes charge.
Additional Judges
The President has also appointed advocates Surendra Mohan Kuriakose; Parappillil Ramakrishnan Nair Ramachandra Menon; Chandra Villa Koyanalipilla Abdul Rehim and Chudalayil Thevan Ravikumar Additional Judges of the Kerala High Court, in that order of seniority, for a period of two years with effect from the dates they assume charge.
The President has appointed Arun Chandra Upadhyay and Chitta Ranjan Sarma Additional Judges of the Gauhati High Court, in that order of seniority, for a period of two years with effect from the dates they assume charge.
