BIDAR: Basavaraj Patil Attur, Basavakalyan MLA, on Tuesday expressed satisfaction on the bypoll results in the State in which Bharatiya Janata Party won five of the eight Assembly segments. He told The Hindu on phone that success of the party in the byelections showed that people of were pro-development. The results proved that people had faith in Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa who had done a commendable job for the State. Mr. Attur expressed confidence that forthcoming parliamentary elections would also go in BJP candidates’ favour. — Staff Correspondent
