Search still on for missing persons

Port Blair: The 300 Bangladeshi and Myanmarese nationals, who went missing after they tried to swim ashore from a boat which was adrift for 13 days, remained untraced, with search by the Coast Guard continuing in the sea off the Little Andaman Island on Monday.

Coast Guard ships, helicopters and Dornier aircraft were continuing the search.

“The search operation is continuing but none could be traced,” Inspector General, Coast Guard, Satya Prakash Sarma said. — PTI
