New General Manager for Northern Railway

NEW DELHI: Vivek Sahai has taken over as the new General Manager of Northern Railway. Prior to this, he was General Manager of North-Central Railway, Allahabad.

He succeeds Shri Prakash who has taken over as Railway Board Member (Traffic).

An Indian Railway Traffic Service officer of the 1973 batch, Mr. Sahai has held several key posts in Indian Railways.

He also has extensive experience in suburban train operations having worked as Divisional Railway Manager of Mumbai Division of Central Railway and Additional General Manager of Western Railway.
