Immigration authorities secure three passengers

Lookout circulars had been issued against them Woman landed by a British Airways flight
CHENNAI: Immigration authorities secured three persons following lookout circulars and handed them over to the local police on Monday.
Immigration sources identified them as Kumudavalli (44), wife of Jayakumar of Kottivakkam, Nijam Ali (45) of Broadway, Chennai, and Murugan (35) of Ramanathapuram district.
Sources said while cases were filed against Kumudavalli under Section 302 (murder); against Nijam Ali under Sections of 419 (cheating by impersonation) and 420 (dishonestly inducing delivery of property); against Murugan under Sections 143 (unlawful assembly) and 145 (joining/continuing unlawful assembly ordered to be dispersed) of Indian Penal Code.
The cases had been registered in 2001, 2007 and 2005 respectively.
While the woman landed by a British Airways flight, Nijam Ali was on his way to Dubai via Colombo and Murugan came from Kuala Lumpur via Sri Lanka.
Further investigations are on.
