Two-way traffic

The construction of the flyover at Gopathi Narayana Road-Thirumalai Road junction was completed in 15 months, according to Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department Secretary Niranjan Mardi.

The project was approved in 2006, and the work began in September 2007. The flyover stands on 24 pillars and is 505 metres long and 15 meters wide. The cost is Rs. 16.50 crore. The flyover can allow two-way traffic.
