Three-wkt. win for Masters CC

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Masters CC defeated Murugan CC by three wickets and entered the semifinals of the G.V. Raja memorial all-Kerala cricket tournament at the Medical College ground here on Monday.

Chasing 184 Masters CC, powered by Ansal’s half-century, reached the target with more than four overs to spare. Crazy CC also moved into the semfinals after getting a walk-over from Swantons CC.

The scores: Murugan CC 183 for seven in 30 overs (Mahesh 40) lost to Masters CC 184 for seven in 25.3 overs (Ansal 50).
